Heavy duty shipping boxes carry dense, bulky, and high-value goods in double and triple-wall board with reinforced corners at the stress points a stacked pallet drives down. A top edge-crush grade rates the column the carton survives, wall count and board thickness step up with the load, and the exterior prints full CMYK with Pantone PMS matching. Recycled-content board runs across the range, with hand holes and fitted inserts cut to the freight.
Two and three-flute walls for weighty cargo
Bolstered angles at the pallet pressure joints
Leading edge-crush figures for tall piling
Punched grips and shaped inserts to the freight
Reclaimed-fibre stock at every build
No floor, so a dense-goods order stays modest
Heavy Duty Shipping Boxes: Reinforced Wall Construction
Why Triple-Wall Exists
Some freight simply crushes anything thinner: dense industrial parts, high-value equipment, bulk cases stacked several pallets high. Triple-wall board puts three fluted layers between liners so the carton carries loads a single or double wall would buckle under. Packify specifies it where the weight and the stacking demand it, because under a heavy pallet column the wall count is the only thing standing between the goods and damage.
Corners Are the Failure Point
A box under a stacked load fails at its corners first, where the vertical column concentrates. Reinforcing those stress points keeps the walls square through warehouse stacking and a rough parcel network. Packify braces the corners on heavy-duty builds rather than trusting flat board to hold, which is the difference between a carton that arrives square and one that arrives bowed and unstackable.
Reading the Edge-Crush Number
For heavy freight the edge-crush grade is the specification that matters, because it states in a number how much stacking pressure the wall holds. It is a board property, not a printed badge. Packify specifies a top ECT grade to the pallet column a shipment sits under, so a buyer matches the carton to real handling rather than hoping a generic box copes with a load it was never rated for.
Inserts Hold Heavy Goods Still
A dense product loose in a heavy-duty box becomes a battering ram against its own walls in transit. Fitted corrugated inserts and dividers hold the freight still so its mass works with the carton rather than against it. Packify cuts the inserts to the actual product, because on a heavy shipment the interior fit protects the goods as much as the wall grade protects the box.

Treble Layer
Three flutes shoulder heavy and costly cargo. Stock runs thickest at this build. Crush forces meet resistance.
Girded Angle
Bolstered corners absorb what a piled pallet presses down. Weak joints thicken. Sides keep their shape.
Steep Crush Rating
A leading edge-crush figure grades the tower it endures. Digits fix the strength. Tall piles stay true.
